00:27: Let's take a look at how to enable project activities for your account...

00:32: To start, select "Settings" from the main menu

00:37: select "Company Settings".

00:40: On the "General" tab, find the "Use Activities" section.

00:45: Select "Per Project" to add activities to each project individually.

00:51: Alternatively,

00:52: select "Always" to apply your activity list to every project automatically.

00:58: Now click "Add Activity" to begin building your list.

01:03: Then, type the name of your activity.

01:07: Now,

01:07: set the "Cost Multiplier" alongside it.

01:11: When Activities are set to Always,

01:14: you’ll have the option to include non-project time in activity tracking.

01:19: You can also enable "Allow Tasks Activities",

01:22: which allows users to capture time against individual tasks.

01:31: Let's take a look at how to add project activities to your project...

01:36: Select "Projects" from the main menu.

01:39: Then,

01:40: select "All Projects".

01:43: Find the project you're working on and click the "Edit" pencil icon to open it.

01:49: From the project dashboard, click the three dots icon to reveal more options.

01:55: Then select "Project Activities".

01:59: A list of all sub-projects will appear.

02:03: select the relevant sub-project you want to add activities for.

02:08: Click Load Default to automatically generate the list of activities you previously

02:12: set up in Settings.

02:16: Your activities now appear under "Activity",

02:19: each with its own "Cost Multiplier".

02:22: You can adjust any of them here if this project works differently.

02:28: To set up an activity manually instead, click "Add Activity" next to it.

02:33: Here you can define specific activities and the cost multiplier for individual

02:37: sub-projects.

02:40: Type the name of the activity and the cost multiplier that you want to track for

02:44: this sub-project.

02:48: click "Save".

02:50: Let's take a look at how to capture time for your activities...

02:55: With your activities in place,

02:57: your team can start logging time to them.

03:02: select "Capture" from the main menu.

03:07: select "Timesheets".

03:11: select "Add Row".

03:13: Search for your project here,

03:15: then click to select it.

03:18: Click the arrow to load the project's sub-project,

03:20: then open the "Select Activity / Task" dropdown.

03:34: click "Save selections" to add your chosen rows to this week's timesheet.

03:39: Your activity now appears as its own row under the sub-project.

03:44: You can now capture your hours against each day of the week.

03:49: At the end of the week, click "Submit Timesheet" to send it through for approval.
