This help article applies to users on Fresh Projects Version 2.
Which version of Fresh Projects am I using?
00:00: The Financial Forecast reports on gross and net income across all projects,
00:04: allowing you to compare actuals to targets.
00:07: Let's consider how to access and interpret this report.
00:13: On the Insight page in the Main Menu,
00:15: click on the Financial Forecast under the Fees & Invoicing section.
00:20: Click the date range selector to choose a date range,
00:23: or use the drop down to select a predefined period.
00:28: Then, open the drop-down list beneath Primary Values and select the options that
00:33: should be reflected in the report.
00:36: Multiple options can be selected.
00:38: You can do the same for any Secondary Values.
00:43: Now,
00:44: select the Columns required and then specify the Row Grouping and Column Grouping.
00:50: Then, toggle on your preferred selection for passthrough sub-projects,
00:55: zero movement sub-projects and planned opportunity values.
01:00: Lastly, set any required filters including Project Status,
01:04: Project Manager,
01:05: or your respective Tracking Categories.
01:09: Click "Load" to load the Financial Forecast data with the selected filters and
01:13: settings.
01:15: The Financial Forecast report will then be loaded,
01:18: portraying a list of the characteristics selected from the options beneath Columns.
01:24: The Planned Invoices for the listed Projects and Sub
01:28: Projects (as well as any other value options selected),
01:31: will then be reported for the relevant months,
01:33: beginning at the Start date selected previously.
01:37: The Planned Invoices are derived from each project's Schedule.
01:42: The respective totals will be shown at the bottom of the screen.
01:47: The information shown here can be downloaded in a spreadsheet as a report by
01:51: clicking on thedownward-facing arrowin the top right corner of the screen.
01:56: You have successfully configured and customised the Financial Forecast report in
