This help article applies to users on Fresh Projects Version 2.
Which version of Fresh Projects am I using?
00:00: This report assists Project Managers in assessing the in-depth financials of
00:04: projects and the stages they comprise of.
00:07: Comparisons can be made between planned costs and fees,
00:10: versus the amounts actually incurred and the running profit.
00:15: In the main menu,
00:17: go to Insight.
00:20: Select Work in Progress under Fees & Invoicing.
00:25: Set the Project Status filter to show projects with the required Project Status
00:31: Then Click "Load".
00:34: This will load a list of respective projects which will be displayed in the left
00:38: most column.
00:41: In the following column,
00:43: the internal Budget set up for the project will be displayed.
00:48: Just next to it, the Actual Expenditure on the project thus far will be displayed as
00:53: both a monetary value,
00:54: and as a percentage of the original Budget.
00:58: The third column reflects the Reported % Progress of the project.
01:03: A signal icon with full bars represents a project whose progress has been recently
01:07: edited and the information is thus up to date.
01:12: TheFee column indicates the total agreed upon fee for the project.
01:18: Next to it, the Invoiced column reflects the amount invoiced as both a monetary value
01:23: ,and as a percentage of the original Fee.
01:27: The sixth column displays the Profit Projected based on the current finances of the
01:31: project, taking into account the actual values captured thus far.
01:38: The second last column provides an indication of the difference between the Invoiced
01:42: amount and the Actual Expenditure.
01:45: A positive green value indicates that the Invoiced amount is higher than the Actual
01:49: Expenditure,
01:50: and a negative red value indicates the contrary.
01:54: The final column shows Draft Invoices as both a monetary value,
01:58: and as a percentage of the Fee for the project.
02:03: Each project can be further broken down to reflect the reported values on a
02:07: sub-project level.
02:09: This can be done by simply expanding the project.
02:14: You can also change the report view between Invoiced vs
02:17: Actual Expense, Invoiced vs.
02:19: Reported Progress,
02:20: and Unbilled Time Value.
02:24: Lastly, the report can be exported as a spreadsheet by clicking the downward facing
02:28: arrow in the top right corner of the screen.
