00:00: A job category is a broad-based group of employees with comparable job

00:04: responsibilities located at comparable levels of responsibility within an

00:10: An example of this are CAD Operators or Senior Engineers.

00:15: Navigate to Settings.

00:19: Then click "Job Categories".

00:22: To set up a new job category,

00:24: click " New Job Category"

00:27: In the pop-up window, enter the name of the relevant job category.

00:32: You can now set the Cost Rate Calculation Method.

00:36: For higher accuracy,

00:38: set the Cost Rate to be Calculated.

00:41: Next, drag the slider to reflect the correct Utilisation Rate for this job category.

00:47: The utilisation rate represents the proportion of time spent on project-related tasks

00:52: as opposed to those tasks which are more of a general nature and cannot be directly

00:56: associated to a specific project,

00:59: such as general admin.

01:02: Lastly, enter the Average Monthly Salary for the job category.

01:07: This will automatically calculate the Average Cost Rate per hour for this job

01:11: category.

01:13: Click "Save job category" to save your new catagory.

01:18: You have now successfully added a new Job Catagory in Fresh Projects.
