Which version of Fresh Projects am I using? 


00:00: This article explains how to set up tracking categories.

00:04: Tracking categories let you filter information across your account, for example by

00:08: branch.

00:09: The answer for a tracking category can only be from a pre defined fixed list

00:16: Tracking Categories can be used to control access to projects by linking the

00:20: employee and projects to the same tracking category

00:23: (and limiting the data access under employee permissions).

00:28: To start, select "Settings" from the main menu.

00:32: Then,

00:33: select "Company Settings".

00:36: Select the "Classification" tab.

00:40: Scroll down to "Enable Tracking Categories" and select "Enabled".

00:45: Now use the "Number of Tracking Categories" slider to choose how many you'd like.

00:51: Give each category a name.

00:54: Then, add your predefined options for each category.

00:59: Under "Visibility & Enforcement",

01:01: you'll see each of your categories listed against Projects,

01:04: Contacts and Employees.

01:08: Open the dropdown to choose whether the tracking category is "Hidden",

01:11: "Optional",

01:12: or "Required" when creating new projects,

01:15: setting up new employees or creating new contacts.

01:20: Lastly,

01:21: click "Save" to save all changes.

01:24: You have now successfully set up tracking categories withinn Fresh Projects.
