Timesheets allow staff members to capture the actual hours spent working on various activities and assist in the planning of resources for future projects.



Let's have a look at how to go about filling in timesheets:


  1. Begin by clicking on Capture in the main menu and opening the Time tab
  2. The current timesheet week will be open by default next to This week. However, should you need to open the timesheets for a different period, simply click on the displayed time frame and select the desired week from the calendar.
  3. To start capturing entries into the timesheet, click +Add Row
  4. Now, click Find Specific Project located near the bottom of the pop-up window.

  5. Start typing out the Project Name in the text entry box and select it from the narrowed down list. You would also be able to search for any non-project time such as Admin.

  6. Then, click on the drop-down list beneath Sub Project to specify the stage you're looking to capture time to, and click +Add.

  7. The selected project and sub project will now be added to the timesheet, allowing you to enter the number of hours worked on it during a given day.

  8. To record any detail about the work that was done at this time, click on the speech bubble after filling in the hours. Type in the description and click Done.

  9. Similarly, you could add a general comment for the whole week by clicking on the speech bubble to the right of the screen.

  10. Once the timesheet for the week has been completed, you can go ahead and submit it by clicking Submit Timesheet.
